This principle guides his day-to-day interactions with clients, where he finds great satisfaction in the continuous appreciation shown for the knowledge and assistance provided. Matt excels in walking clients through financial planning strategies and works closely with the entire Woodlawn Team to ensure clients receive comprehensive and tailored financial guidance.
Prior to joining Woodlawn Wealth, Matt’s diverse background spanned across financial planning, operations management, sales, and athletic training. He studied for his Applied Arts and Sciences degree at Texas State University, with emphasis in communication, business management, and athletic training. His experience and accomplishments include participation in events like The Future Business Leaders of America in Washington D.C., illustrating his inclination towards leadership and service.
Outside the office, Matt is passionate about fitness and sports, having spent five years as a personal trainer. His commitment to helping others achieve their best selves is mirrored in his approach to financial planning. A lover of outdoor activities and a competitor in local athletic events such as Austin’s Fittest, Ninja Warrior, Tough Mudder and Spartan Race, Matt finds joy in challenging himself physically and mentally.
Family holds a central place in Matt's life. He cherishes the time spent with his wife, Veronica, their son, Lucas, embracing every opportunity to create lasting memories together. They will also be welcoming a new daughter into the family in December 2025!
